This German band has been making the rounds
for a number of years, releasing several albums
since debuting in 1995.
They've attracted some recent interest due to the
interesting addition of former
Faith No More
bassist Billy Gould on guitar, who produced their
recent 7 album and then decided to sign on as
second guitarist.
Style-wise (based on '06's Sis Masis), they
blend the hardened guitar sound of, say,
Helmet,
with the more quirky pop-metal edge that invariably
brings
Queens Of The Stone Age
to mind.
Though rarely do they get seriously heavy, they do
have a refreshing hard rock style that, apart from the
aforementioned influences, is pretty original.
Gould announced his amicable departure from the group at the end
of 2007.
