Infernal Method

Infernal Method was formed by guitarist Petar Peric near the end of the nineties, the band first playing live in 2001. Two demos were recorded in 2002 and 2003, and they even managed to record a full-length album, but they broke up in the summer of 2004 without releasing the album. By that time the lineup had already changed many times over, with ex-members including former Dimmu Borgir guitarist Astennu among others. Peric and drummer Grahame Goode went to Dungeon for a brief period, and then decided to reform the band. The shelved album was re-recorded with new vocalist Evan Williams and finally was released in 2005. Architecture Of Instinct is pretty standard Swedish-inspired melodic death metal, with Williams' vocals almost in the metalcore camp -- it's an accomplished album and certainly recommended to melodeath enthusiasts. Unfortunately, the one album would be all the band would release, as they officially disbanded in early 2007.
