Ion Vein
Chicago's Ion Vein has self-released two classic prog metal
albums in 1999 and 2003, with a style blending influences such
as early
Queensryche,
Fates Warning,
and
Crimson Glory.
Considering they were and are unsigned, their albums are impressive,
clearly recommended to fans of the aforementioned bands.
As of mid-2007 they were searching for a vocalist to complete their
lineup as well as finish their third album.
