Lords Of The Crimson Alliance

An odd relic from the 80's, Lords Of The Crimson Alliance was the only album released by this enigmatic crew that apparently dwelled in New York once upon a time. The vocalist, Far Cry, lives up to his stage name, as he wails like a banshee, sometimes to the detraction of the music, though to be fair his was a pretty original voice. And the music was original too, a quirky type of metal that is undeniably indie 80's yet not really sounding like anyone else. Even at the time these guys were pretty unknown, coming and going with very little fanfare. A lost treasure, worthy of a listen purely for the novelty value, though also a solid choice for 80's nostalgia fans.
