Morbid Saint

Morbid Saint's 1990 debut, Spectrum Of Death (also known by its rare 1988 demo title Lock Up Your Children) is one of those underground, underrated metal gems that are worth seeking out, with its death-tinged thrash and blackened raspy vocals never relenting and yet still holding up years later. But by 1994 the band flamed out, and while a version of the band reformed in 2010, they've been under the radar since, with recordings limited to a compilation, an odd Japanese live release, and the completion of their 1992 demo (2015's Destruction System). Yet in early 2022 comes word that the band is rejuvenated and is working on the proper followup to Spectrum.
