Piece Dogs

Piece Dogs were a mainstream metal band with thrash tendencies (i.e. they sometimes played straight thrash but in general were not as frenetic as traditional thrash bands of the era). They had the somewhat gimmicky habit of replacing I's with X's on the album notes (befitting the album title, I suppose), so they had members playing "guxtar" and had song titles like "Devxl Dog" and "Hxgh Anxxety". Though not really original, their songwriting showed a bit more diversity than the average semi-thrash band.
