Rhoads

The name Rhoads is, of course, hallowed in metal circles, as guitarist Randy Rhoads will forever be remembered for his outstanding guitar work in Quiet Riot and with Ozzy Osbourne (and also, sadly, for his tragic death at the tender age of 25). Doug Rhoads, who goes by the name Kelle, is Randy's older brother, and Rhoads the band was his short-lived solo 80's metal project. An EP and LP were released in 1985 and 1986, respectively, with entirely different lineups save for singer Kelle. The music on the album (Into The Future) was rather typical mainstream 80's metal/hard rock, with Kelle proving to be a capable vocalist though the music was ultimately not terribly memorable.
