Sleepy Hollow
Sleepy Hollow was one of several bands featuring then-former
(and now current)
Attacker
vocalist Bob Mitchell.
Formed in 1989, the group quickly recorded a demo (later to
appear as
A Legend Retold), followed by a self-titled album
on the cult Azra label in 1991.
The album, a classic 80's-inspired affair not far removed from the
aforementioned Attacker, got some good reviews and fan approval,
but the band itself was short-lived.
The original lineup dissolved
shortly after the album's release and, following a couple of later
lineups formed by Mitchell (at various times featuring Attacker
guitarists Pat Marinelli and Jim Mooney, as well as
Symphony X's Mike Lepond), disbanded for good in the spring of
1993.
They announced a reformation in late 2010.
