This Ending

This Swedish band traces its roots to a 90's melodic death metal band by the name of A Canorous Quintet. That band recorded two albums in the late nineties but were done by 1999. Six years later the same fivesome reunited, but with a different name, The Plague. A demo was recorded, they signed to Metal Blade Records, and they changed name once again, to This Ending. Continuing the classic Gothenburg style, This Ending most recently recorded in 2016 with Garden Of Death, while 2018 recordings have surfaced under the old Canorous name. The current lineup for both bands (if indeed they are two different bands now) consists of three of the original five with two new members joining.
