Ultraspank

Ultraspank are one of a growing legion of late-nineties American alterna-metal bands (often termed nu-metal). They vaguely remind me of System Of A Down, or perhaps a slightly heavier Tool, with a industrial/techno flavor mixed in. Vocals range from the more typical harsh shouting to a near clone of Tool's Maynard James Keenan. After two albums, they were dropped by Epic in 2001 and apparently broke up as a result.
