3rd Stage Alert was one of many LA bands to get their start on a Metal Massacre compilation, in this case debuting on Metal Massacre II before releasing a decent hard rock EP and then disappearing. None other than Yngwie Malmsteen produced the EP as well as making an guest appearance on one track. The drummer here, Mark Edwards, who also collaborated with Malmsteen in Steeler.
