Ablaze In Hatred
Ablaze In Hatred is a standard Finnish doomdeath band,
along the lines of
Swallow The Sun,
taking their cues from bands such as (early)
Katatonia.
There's not a lot of variation on their
Deceptive Awareness
debut, the tempos are mostly slow with drawn-out
keyboards and sparse guitar riffs.
They are certainly heavy, though like others in the
so-called funeral doom genre, their heaviness comes more
from mood and pacing rather than crushing guitars.
Not a groundbreaking effort, but a solid doomdeath/funeral
doom debut.
