Alvacast

The contributions of Brazil and Argentina to the metal world have been well documented, but other South American countries have their favorite sons. Case in point: Alvacast, a late-eighties band from Uruguay. Their style was raw, pre-thrash metal, predictably a bit rough around the edges as it's unlikely they had a big recording budget to work with. No doubt they achieved some local fame in their day.
