Assassin

Assassin debuted in 1986 with The Upcoming Terror, and along with the followup (Interstellar Experience, released two years later), found the band playing frenetic, high-energy speed/thrash metal with somewhat hardcore-ish vocals, giving them an early Nuclear Assault vibe. The band broke up a year after that, with a modified lineup emerging in 2002, along with The Club in 2005, and since then the band, now featuring only the guitarists from the early days, carry on, with a new album in 2016.
