Bewitcher

Bewitcher made quite a statement with their sophomore effort, 2019's Under The Witching Cross, which is chock full of punky, speedy, blackened thrash goodness, reminiscient of bands like Midnight at their best. With the move to the bigger Century Media label for Cursed Be Thy Kingdom in 2021 comes a maturation of sorts -- they're still blackened thrash at heart, but the songs have more breadth and a slight lean toward traditional metal.

Recent album: Spell Shock, released on September 27, 2024.
