Blessed Death
Blessed Death arrived on the scene in the early eighties, with
their impressive '84 demo tape a popular item among the underground
tape traders of the day.
In due time the impressive
Kill Or Be Killed was released,
followed up by
Destined For Extinction two years later in 1987.
Though the production values were slightly lacking, the band's
original take on complex speed/thrash metal more than
made up for the production issues.
A third album was recorded in 1991 but was never released, however
that album (once, perhaps, known as
Born To Die but now
going under the title
Hour Of Pain) has now been released by
the band themselves (see the official website
for details).
An irrelevant but amusing trivia note: this might be the only
metal band to feature identical twins as a rhythm section!
