Byfist
Byfist was an institution in the Texas metal scene in the late eighties,
but they were only able to record a couple of self-financed EPs before
management and personnel issues brought about their breakup in 1991.
They got back together in 2000 and are still together in one form or
another, though their only recorded output since then is compiling their
older material, packaged and released as
Preserving The Past in 2008.
The core of guitarists Davey Lee and Notch Vara also have served time in
David Wayne's old
Reverend
project, which similarly seems to be in limbo as of this writing.
