Concerto Moon

Japan has always had a soft spot for the sort of neoclassical hard rock/metal played by the likes of Yngwie Malmsteen, so it probably comes as a no surprise that a Japanese band influenced by said guitarist has enjoyed success in their homeland. Such is the case of Concerto Moon, a band formed in 1995 and with a string of albums released in the decade since. With the exception of Japanese-inflected (and often Japanese language) vocal, this band is as Western as they come, with strong resemblances to the aforementioned Yngwie as well as bands such as Royal Hunt and Rainbow.
