Diabolus
File this under "bizarre".
The album consists entirely of one thirty-minute song,
essentially instrumental (with scattered sampled vocal effects),
comprised mainly of phase-shifted guitarwork (not a solo in sight),
heavy drumming (tribal-sounding at times), and an overall sound that
is just plain mean.
At times it gets a little monotonous, but it's quite interesting
just because it's so different.
I doubt that this is a full-time band, as this has the feel of
a one-time experimental project, but I could be wrong.
Very odd.
