Doedsmaghird
If you're looking at the name Doedsmagird and are thinking
"that looks quite similar to
Dødheimsgard",
you're right, and it's intentional --
not only is this project an offshoot of Dodheimsgard helmed
by vocalist Vicotnik, the name Doedsmaghird is in fact
an anagram of Dodheimsgard.
And, really, "anagram of Dodheimsgard" is an apt description
of the music here as well, as that band has been entrenched
in avant-garde-ish,
industrial-tinged black metal for some time, and this project
continues along those lines while adding some detours into
further quirkiness, so less black and more avant-garde.
