Devilment
Devilment caught the interests of many a metal fan due to the
appearance of
Cradle Of Filth
frontman Dani Filth, though this isn't a COF clone and Dani wasn't
the original driving force behind the band, though he may or may not
be in charge now.
Debuting in 2014 with
The Great And Secret Show, Dani's unique vocal
style is front and center but the music is more based in a somewhat
groove-laden gothic metal blend, pretty entertaining and with a fair
bit of originality.
Lineup changes have been a near constant with this band
(even the original founder, Danny Finch, left after the first album),
which puts the long-term viability of Devilment in question.
