Five The Hierophant

Through Aureate Void is a peculiar album by this London group, featuring a set of meandering, dark, foreboding post-metal tunes with clear jazz influences (the sax plays a major role in this band), virtually no vocals save the occasional distant spoken words, and a bit of a creepy vibe at times. Quite different, pretty cool in places, pretty odd throughout.

Recent album: Apeiron, released on October 18, 2024.
