Gurd

Gurd is the continuation, of sorts, of the thrash band Poltergeist, formed in 1994 by two members of that band. Rather than continuing to play traditional thrash as Poltergeist did, Gurd opted to retain the aggression of thrash, mixed with a more modern, groove-ish crunch that occasionally wanders into nu-metal territory, a la newer Machine Head or, to a lesser extent, Pantera.
