Jaguar were one of many British bands that burst onto the scene
during the height of the NWOBHM days of the early 80's.
They first appeared on the Heavy Metal Heroes compilation
before signing to Neat Records for their first full-length album.
That album, Power Games, was your basic, no-frills, traditional
NWOBHM album.
The second album reported showed the band moving toward a more
accessible sound (having never heard it myself), but ultimately
the band decided to quit soon afterward.
However, the band reformed in 1998 (soon after their first album
was re-released) and eventually released Wake Me in 2000, marking
a return to the first-album style.
Run Ragged was released three years later, in July 2003.
