Lords Of The Trident
Lords Of The Trident was formed in 2005 by fellow students at the
University of Wisconsin, and from the outset it's clear these guys
weren't wanting to be taken too seriously, given
the over-the-top member names, song titles like
"Legions Of Hypocrisy" and "Alone In Cole Hall", and their website boast
of being "the most metal band on Earth".
Yet calling these guys a joke metal band would be doing them a
disservice, as their brand of European-styled, 80's-inspired
power/traditional metal
as heard on 2015's
Frostburn is quite well done.
The Lords aren't out to change the world, but rather just having a good
time playing metal, and that's just fine.
