Mothership

2017's High Strangeness (the band's third album) sees this Dallas trio peddling a well-worn but commendably executed brand of stoner-inflected 70's-influenced hard rock/metal. Of course Kyuss comes to mind with bands like this, but Mothership are more rooted in garage metal than the psychedelic leanings of other stoner bands. Not essential, but a solid effort and a worthy addition to the stoner scene.
