Pitchshifter

Pitchshifter started out as a pioneering industrial metal band, with a strong Godflesh similarity on their debut, the aptly titled Industrial. As their career progressed, they gradually moved away from the starkness of those early works to a more mainstream, electronic/technometal sound, as heard on the later material such as www.pitchshifter.com, the album that broke the band nationally. By 2003 they decided they had done enough and broke up amicably, though they continued to play the odd festival now and again. They reunited in 2006, self-releasing a tour-only EP with possible future recordings in the works.
