Sasquatch

The power trio Sasquatch has been around since 2001, reliably recording albums every few years, now on their fifth as of this writing. The name Sasquatch evokes some sort of hulking doom perhaps, or at least something really heavy, and the band live up to the name. Maneuvers is a solid slice of sweaty, doomy stoner metal, with some grunge and alternative inflections, topped by founding guitarist/vocalist Keith Gibbs classic stoner metal vocals. The band rarely strays from their base sound, though there's a decent variety in the songs. Above average for the genre, Sasquatch appear to have settled into a nice career.
