Sausage
Sausage was a side project featuring
Primus
bassist Les Claypool and, as it turns out, two early
(pre-first-album) Primus members.
The album isn't really much different from the Primus efforts at
that time (the guitarwork is a little less heavy, the drumming less
adventurous), and it suffers from the same problem as some recent
Primus albums (notable
Pork Soda) in that several of the songs
sound more like impromptu, meandering jam sessions rather than
proper songs.
I like Primus a lot, and this isn't that bad, but it really didn't
do much for me at all.
Presumably this is not an ongoing project.
