Serpentcult

Serpentcult is essentially the continuation of Thee Plague Of Gentlemen, formed after the breakup of that band due to legal troubles of its founding member. Originally this band featured a female vocalist, which would have signalled somewhat of a shift in direction, but on their last album, 2011's Raised By Wolves, she's gone and save for some sparse, distant blackened howls, the album is almost instrumental, yet still in the sludgy doom mold.
