StormHammer

No surprises as to what a German metal band called StormHammer sounds like, what with power metal reigning supreme there and the name StormHammer being a somewhat generic band name. Yes, it's traditional Euro power metal all the way, with their style being less the speed-happy metal of a Gamma Ray but more along the lines of, say, Angel Dust or Running Wild. The band sounds fine, playing all the right notes in all the right places, though they, like their name, are a bit generic -- there's little here to distinguish themselves from the many other power metal bands in Europe these days. Nonetheless, power metal fans will find much to like here.
