The Troops Of Doom

The Troops Of Doom is a Brazilian band not only named after an early Sepultura tune, but also founded by the guy who originally played it in guitarist Jairo Guedz. Predictably, then, the style here is straight from the pre-Roots era of early Slayer-esque deathy thrash metal. Less predictably, the band punches above its weight, sounding fresh and invigorated (even though not modern) rather than a weak Sepultura clone.
