Tad
Along with
Nirvana,
Tad was one of the first (and heaviest) of the
early Seattle grunge bands.
Over the years Tad stayed closer to those early grunge roots
than Nirvana did, although they were at their very heaviest
on their debut
God's Balls,
which ranks with Nirvana's
Bleach
as one of the most metallic Sub Pop releases.
They broke up in early 1999, with drummer Josh later in a band
called Hotrod Lunatics, and Tad himself forming
Hog Molly.
