U.D.O.

While it is accurate to say that U.D.O. is the band led by former Accept vocalist Udo Dirkschneider, it's also a bit misleading, in that Udo has been fronting this band for far longer than his tenure in Accept. This project dates all the way back to 1987, when Udo started up shortly after his initial departure from Accept. He returned to that band for a time in the early nineties, and then when Accept folded (temporarily, as it turns out) in 1997, Udo revived U.D.O. and hasn't looked back since. Naturally the style here isn't a radical departure from Accept, and for quite some time U.D.O. would include Accept tunes in its live sets, though that has recently come to a close.
