Atlain
The early to mid-eighties saw several European bands experimenting with
speed metal in one form or another, and Atlain was such a band, basically
taking an early
Accept
base and speeding things up a bit (this was before the thrash boom hit,
so this is more like faster power metal than thrash).
Atlain managed to release two passable albums, but aside from two of
their members later moving on to more established acts, this wasn't the
most memorable of bands.
