Death Of A Dryad
Death Of A Dryad is an enigmatic French duo, and their
2021
Hameln
is an ecletic and interesting blend of several styles,
notably
gothic,
industrial,
folk (highlighted by excellent flute playing),
and even a few bits of furious black metal.
A dark, medieval vibe is present throughout,
and while a fair bit of this really isn't metal at all,
there's enough moodiness and intrigue to
appeal to metal-adjacent fans.
