Holy Mountain
With a band name a likely reference to the classic
Sleep
album,
Holy Mountain roared into being in 2009, debuted three years later
with
Earth Measures, and followed that up in 2014 with
Ancient Astronauts.
This is some seriously heavy psychedelic stoner metal, often veering
into space rock territory (the album title is likely a hint there),
heavy on the riffs and jams and tempos ranging from true doom to more
uptempo rockers.
Great potential here.
