Hologram

Hologram came about as a result of a split within the Holocaust camp in the early eighties, with one guitarist (John Mortimer) retaining the Holocaust name and the other (Ed Dudley) branching off to form a new band. This band's sole album, Steal The Stars, bears no resemblance to Holocaust, as Dudley and crew clearly went for a more radio-friendly hard rock sound. For the style, it's not too bad, though underproduced as were many NWOBHM albums of the day. Ultimately the album didn't get a lot of notice and the band was not heard from again.
