Jerusalem

This obscure British band managed one album in 1972, notable perhaps because it was produced by Deep Purple frontman Ian Gillan. The style is what you'd expect for 1972 hard rock/metal, they certainly weren't as heavy as Sabbath or even Budgie but they did a fair job of cranking out good hard rock. The original vinyl has become a collector's item and the album has been re-released a few times over the years. The band was a one-hit wonder, breaking up soon after the initial release.
