The Nefilim

The Nefilim was formed as an offshoot of the legendary goth band Fields Of The Nephilim, at a time where leader Carl McCoy wished to pursue a different musical direction. Fields. On Zoon, McCoy uses several different vocal styles, sometimes processed (industrial-like), only occasionally what one might consider goth. The music is mostly mid-paced, riff-heavy, with a somewhat eerie feel to it, resulting in a somewhat odd yet intriguing release. Several years later, McCoy and the Fields Of The Nephilim were back in business, signalling the end of this experiment.
