Seduce
Seduce was one of a handful of Detroit bands opting for a glam-influenced
style in the mid-eighties
(
Halloween
and
Madam X
were two contemporaries),
debuting with a self-titled effort and then a followup three
years later, by which time the band was already on thin ice with
the typical internal conflicts (appearing on the the
film "The Decline Of Western Civilization Pt II" probably did the band
no favors).
That second album, 1988's
Too Much, Ain't Enough
retains some of the glam edge from the debut while also blending in
some of the grittier hard rock styling that was prevalent at the time.
