Voodoma

Gotland, the 7th full-length album from this veteran German group, displays a form of pop-inflected goth/rock, with driving guitars and deep crooned vocals bringing to mind the Finnish bands of old that made goth rock a thing. Sometimes sounding like a muted and mainstream-oriented The Vision Bleak, the songs are pretty formulaic but it's an enjoyable, if inoffensive, listen nonetheless.
