Vulcain's debut album, Rock'n'Roll Secours, earned the band
the title "the French
upon its release in 1984, an apt description due to the group's
speedy heavy rock style and Daniel Puzio's vocal resemblance
As with the majority of 80's French metal bands, they sung
mostly in their native language and thus their popularity was
largely restricted to their homeland.
Over the course of their career, spanning nine studio albums
from 1984 to 1998, the Motorhead-isms had lessened somewhat,
with the band adopting a more traditional metal style.
After an extended absense they came back in 2009 and released
their first live album in 2011.
