Aloop

If Metallica, Exodus, et. al. represent the first generation of thrash metal, and Pantera are the second generation, then bands like Aloop take it to the next level. Modern, death-tinged thrash is the order of the day on Global Crisis, with crushing guitars, harsh vocals (though the occasional clean vocal comes through), and driving rhythms. These guys do a good job of marrying old school thrash with modern intensity. Good potential here.
