Divine Souls

Decent, if generic, melodic death metal from this Swedish quintet, released at a time where this style was really becoming oversaturated. There's nothing wrong here, and they perform the style well, but there's little to differentiate these guys from countless other bands in this genre. The band managed two albums in 2001 and 2002 before disbanding in August 2004, with founder/songwriter Mikael Lindgren losing interest in playing.
