The Night Eternal may hail from Germany, but their style
on 2023's
Fatale
is something
rarely heard from that country, a faintly goth/occult take on hard
rock/metal with
gothy baritone vocals from Ricardo Baum evoking strong comparisons to
Unto Others.
Apart from that band, there aren't a lot of groups playing this style,
and The Night Eternal feel like they know exactly what they're doing.
A solid effort.
