Teeth Of Lions Rule The Divine
Taking their name from a track from the cult drone act
Earth,
Teeth Of Lions Rule The Divine comprise of four standouts in the
underground doom industry, most notably Lee Dorrian of
Rise Above
Records and
Cathedral.
Rampton contains only three tracks, but with one at just a shade
under half an hour and another clocking in at almost 18 minutes (the
third is the short one, only seven minutes long), one should have a good
idea what to expect.
This is ultra-slow, sludgy drone/doom, and as with any drone band, one
has to be in just the right frame of mind to get anything out of it.
These guys know what they're doing and in that sense this is a success,
just don't expect anything remotely uplifting.
