Americade
Back in 1983, a little-known band called Americade arrived on the
metal scene, sporting patriotic costumes (befitting their name) and
a Van Halen style on their
American Metal album.
They were not heard from again for many years, up until the
mid-nineties, when a second album was released, with a title
(
americade.com) that seemed to cash in on the then-new Internet
craze.
The band hasn't been heard from since.
Ex-bassist Dave Spitz is the brother of former
Anthrax
guitarist Dan Spitz.
