Black Rainbows

Supermothafuzzalicious. Hawkdope. Cosmic Ritual Supertrip. If those album titles don't scream stoner metal nirvana, nothing will. And on the Heavy Psych label no less, one of the current stoner havens. Italy and stoner rock haven't intertwined a lot over the years, with Ufomammut being an exception though they come at it with a far more doomy/spacey style than here, where uptempo straightahead stoner rock reigns supreme. This genre doesn't often present a lot of surprises and true to form Superskull isn't radically different than others in the field, but they still make the grade.
