Craven Idol

Craven Idol formed in London in 2005 but took their time with recording, as their debut album didn't appear until 2013 with an EP preceding that by a couple of years. Several bands have been categorized as blackened thrash, but these guys might better be termed thrashy black, as black metal is somewhat the more dominant influence here. Their core sound features a blast of furious blackened riffs, crashing drums, and forceful black vocals, with very little respite even though the band does pace itself well.
